YE Kingston & Richmond Company of the Year Trade Fair
On the 17th of March 2018, our team, among around 20 other Young Enterprise Teams from different schools around the Kingston and Richmond area, took part in a trade fair set up by YE at Kingston Historic Market (KT1 1JT). It was a cold, snowy day, and we had no power so we couldn't bring out our monitor, however, we made a poster (which you can see in the picture to the left) which nicely showcased our journey, finances, events, and socials. Due to the harsh weather, the trade fair only ended at 3:00pm instead of 4:00pm, but we still sold well throughout the day. We made a strong pitch to the judges, including a representative from the National Institute of Physics and the Mayor of Kingston & Richmond. We were, as a result, awarded the 'Best STEM product' award which was sponsored by the National Institute of Physics! Overall, a very successful day for RaySafe
National YE Trade Fair - Stratford-Upon-Avon
On Saturday 10th February between 9am and 4pm in Stratford-Upon-Avon, some member of our RaySafe team attended the Young Enterprise organized National Trade fair. We woke up early for a 2-hour road trip to Stratford-Upon-Avon and had our stand set up for 9:45am. We had new wood and marble products for all of our models to sell, and some laptop model prototypes for market research. Unfortunetly, we were placed in stand near to the end of the fair, meaning we had minimal space for our banners and minimal traffic. Yet we still managed to sell well to the public who loved our new marble RaySafe, making this our best-selling trade fair to date. Unfortunetly, due to dodgy judging and poor location, we were not visited by any serious and intrested judges, so we did not earn any awards, however the YE representative (who was not a judge) that we did speak to apoligised for the lack of judging and mentioned that our product was "The best she had seen by far". Overall a sucessful day as we learnt our lesson to communicate with YE about issues that we had, and we sold a lot of products whilst also generating a lot of interest.

Uxbridge Pavillions Shopping Center YE Trade Fair 2018
On the 4th of February 2018, our team, among around 30 other Young Enterprise Teams from different schools around London, took part in a trade fair set up by YE at Uxbridge Pavillions Shopping Center (UB8 1LH). We set up a trade stand, with an interactive display and our website visible on a monitor to showcase the dangers of EMF radiation. We had plenty more of our new carbon fiber models, which sold well to the public, as well as some new wood and marble product prototypes for market research. We sold from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, and made a convincing pitch to the judges, which earnt us the 'Best Trade Stand' award. You can see a picture of our team accepting this award on the left. Overall a very successful day for RaySafe.
YE Richmond and Kingston Trade Fair
On Saturday 24th February between 10am and 3.30pm at Eden Walk Shopping Centre in Kingston upon Thames (KT1 1BL), some member of our RaySafe team attended the Young Enterprise organised Richmond and Kingston Trade Fair. We set up our usual beautiful trade stand and both sold to and intrigued many customers. We has more stock of our new Carbon Fibre models this time, which many people loved. Customers said they love the colour, design and texture of the carbon fibre models. Overall, a very positive day, which gave us some important market research feedback. From this ,we decided to upgrade our webiste with its own online store to make it easier for customers to buy thier own RaySafe.

Old Spitalfields Market Pan-London Trade Fair 2018
On the 6th of February 2018, our team, among around 70 other Young Enterprise Teams from different schools around London, took part in a trade fair set up by YE at Old Spitalfields Market in Liverpool Street, London. We set up a trade stand, with an interactive display and our website visable on a monitor, and even had custom made RaySafe t-shirts (pictures of which you can see if you scroll along the presentation). We sold our products throughout the day from 8:00 am to 3:30 pm, including some of our new Carbon Fibre Models. We pitched our product well to the judges, who were none other than and other former Apprentice Candidates and now sucessful buisnessmen Ross Fretten and Sajan Shah. They were so outstanded by our product that they decided to award us with the Best Overall Company Award! So overall a very sucessful day for RaySafe.
SPJ Christmas Fayre 2017
On the 26th of November the whole team went to the St Paul's Juniors Christmas Fair with the sole aim of fundraising. After corresponding with the organisers we had arranged to run two stands. One was a games stand, to which a constant stream of children flocked to play Higher or Lower and Ring Toss, naturally involving a chocolate or candy prize. On the other stall we advertised our EMF protective decals by handing out flyers and collecting email addresses for the future. We also sold mince pies, which we bought from a licensed chef, Note Bags, the excess stock from on of the YE companies from last year, and glitter, left over from our original idea. It was a very successful day, and we had a lot of fun while doing it.
